For some people that may mean participating in an anti-war rally
After watching this story on the 10 o'clock news last night, they immediately did a positive segment on anti-war rallies.
The slant was to cope, go to an anti-war rally.
I e-mailed them, challenging their bias - pointing out that many of us support President Bush and our troops.
Just venting!

This is not new. We went through this in the 50's and early 60's. For that matter, it was a daily concern of most humans throughout human history. The invention of nuclear weapons and MAD gave us a brief respit, but the issue that has concerned man for mellinnia is back.

I thought the people of SF were more afraid of the Sutro Tower falling on them more than anything.
Anyway, I digress. I bet the homeless population is leaving in droves.

Personally, when I think of going to San Francisco, FOREIGN terrorist attack is not among my worries. Infectious diseases... panhandlers.....

After the war the terrorists that haven't been killed off will pick a much weaker enemy to project their problems on. I suggest Old Europe.

I have not changed my life in any way since the orange alert level was issued.
yea right...
the first thing I did was to start packing two extra mags
hope we dont go to red alert, the flame thrower's really bulky...
we had a power outage yesterday from Rock Springs Wy. to St. George Ut. and i was with another freeper at the time. we both admited wondering for that split second whether it was an act of terrorism
it wound up being the cause of a trucker with an end dump trailer clipping two 138,000 volt lines leading into a substation trippng this, tripping that.
question is, are we paranoid or vigilant...

I don't understand the anxiety. After all, we here in the Bay Area outlawed nukes and oppose the war on Iraq. Surely our kindly rogue terrorists will spare us. < /SARCASM >

Levy says if you're having trouble sleeping or have other symptoms of anxiety try talking it out. Exercise can also help. If you're still feeling distressed, Levy said, seek professional help. these people really need to get to the range more often.

"It's new for us," said Edna Ross of Oakland. "I think we've always been in danger and we just didn't know it before. In her case, it took ignoring the Gulf War and ignoring 9/11. I'll bet she saw a LOCAL news piece about duct tape to finally wake her up.
In your case, " question is, are we paranoid or vigilant... ", only you two can decide the truth. Myself, I call vigilance a trait of being self reliant.

I called Edna and since there is a week long peace march over in Oakland, she suggests that you go to the range in her place. The local councilman said there isn't anything to worry about.

(nothing to worry about. i tried to see their point of view, but couldn't get my head up there)
To: glock rocks
I told her you would be shooting up your supply of ammunition at paper targets. She liked that because she is promoting a tax on ammo.

paper targets?
that brings up an intersting question...
if the ground hog, er, sage rat, pokes his head out and finds himself a pink stain across the snow...
do we have six more weeks of bay area whining?
To: glock rocks
Not if you keep if quiet.
