A friend of mine has been hunting deer for decades using an Army issue .45. There's got to be a heck of a recoil on this .50.

I remember reading about a similar gun, the .50 Linebaugh, a custom built on a Ruger single action frame. One of the testers actually injured his wrist. I also read that one of the testers for the Smith 50 broke his wrist.

Guess I'll shoot handloads in mine.

They also came out with a .44 Magnum in titanium that weighs a pound an a half. I think I'd rather shoot the .50.
