I think that all disappearances of whites, whether rich or poor, pretty or not-so-pretty should should be given attention, not just the pretty and rich ones.
As for the black woman mentioned above -- it also deserves attention. Claims have been made that the media tends to ignore missing boys in contrast to girls and women. Freerepublic, for example. was one of the few sources for information about a boy -- I forgot his name -- who was tortured and murderd by two men.
