Anyone know if this was a brand new boat? No trace of salt water at all? The thing has never been in the sea?

no...don't know any of that....

I do get a kick out of people saying that sp would hose down the boat right after fishing in the bay because everyone knows that salt is corrosive....hah

.everybody also knows that a 14 foot boat is not the best choice for bay fishing for sturgeon, and probably 0930 am is not the best time to leave for a day of fishing ..
