All of you who replied to my post are probably right. I'm always talking to my best friend from college days, and we agree that if we were back in college today, we'd get thrown out within 48 hours for loudly opposing all the leftist PC speech code drivel. Thank God we went to college during an era when it was supposed to provide a laboratory for arguing different ideas and not a Soviet-style gulag that trained everyone to think in the "approved" way or else.

Monica was supposed to get a job at Revlon but flunked the employment exam. She job she really wanted was 'strategic planner' for the UN.

I understand where you're coming from, really I do! but this company want her because they want her parents, who despite how we feel, have enormous power and contacts. She will be a rainmaker for them. It makes me sick, but it's reality.

You know, I never understood why Monica not only had to service the president but also work as a paid secretary for Revlon. I'll tell you, the French mistresses of Louis IV were much sharper. They serviced their lords & then sat on divans eating chocolate.

You got that right! If I was in public school today they'ed probably be trying to drug me for being a difficult child.

The best thing about going to college during the Carter administration was that even the flaming liberals felt they better knuckle down and get a job.

Clear evidence that these two firms are located in buildings plagued by rodents and desperately are seeking a remedy...

Don't worry. Chelsea probably won't be able to sustain a wage like this.

...but then, what do I know about high fashion.

I don't know about fashion either but I have it on "media" authority, that this is a real thing:

Making a clean breast of fashion [Boobs for men as a fashion accessory]

You got that right, it's expensive. My girlfriend is interviewing with McKinsey right now, and expects to be offered in the range of $150K/year. However, she's been a manufacturing consultant for 6 years already, and is currently working at Nike facilities in Vietnam. Chelsea has no such experience. Would they be paying her for her family connections? (duh.) While living in Kentucky, my girlfriend was making about $120K a year. To make that equivalent salary in Boston you'rer talking almost $200K. I would think long and hard about Chelsea if I were them. Clients pay big money for their services, and knowing that you have this "famous" (or imfamous) person working for you could be a problem. And yes, she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

If she gets a hot tip like King RAT Terry McAwful, she could turn that $100k into $18,000,000. Even mama Clinton was able to turn $1,000 into $100k. She'll have a pocket full of cash in no time.

Everybody needs to take it easy on Webb's kid.

She needs to have some kind of pretend job to occupy her until old enough to run for congress.
