Islamabad, Feb. 12: Pakistan today condemned anti-ship cruise missile test by India, calling it a sign of extremism deliberately timed to attract minimal world attention.

"India is an extremist country and it is dying to display its armament," Pakistan's Information Minister Sheikh Rashid was quoted as saying in an agency report.

This test comes at a time when the world is facing a serious crisis and all countries are looking towards Iraq, the agency further quoted the minister as saying.

"India has chosen this time deliberately, so it goes almost unnoticed," the minister is reported to have alleged.

If India was "dying to display its armament" why would it time the test to "attract minimal world attention?"
