KABC's Al Rantel Nails the RATS on "Star Wars"
Al Rantel Show, KABC in Los Angeles | 2-12-03 | dfu

Al Rantel on KABC is nailing the RATS big time regarding Star Wars.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the RATS have always mocked the idea of a missile defense shield. Well, how many of them are laughing now? If we had a missile defense shield, those on the West Coast would be a little less worried about Korea. In case you missed it, CIA Director George Tenet confirmed that the maniacs of North Korea have a missile that can reach the West Coast.

When President Bush spoke of it in the SOTU, Republicans cheered and RATS sat on their hands. I'll say it again --- NEVER TRUST DEMOCRATS WITH NATIONAL SECURITY.

Please link some stories on this thread of how the RATS have stood in the way of Star Wars. Another great big thank you to William Jefferson Blythe Clinton. I'll also say this again --- the damage he did in 8 years is incalculable.

Yeah, opportunities lost.

I often wonder if the survivors will round up those previously in power who were criminally negligent and toss them into the glowing wasteland. Sooner or later there will be a price to pay.

I'm all for a missile defense shield on the West Coast, as long as it doesn't cover Hollywood.

What I find ironic about opposition to a missile defense shield is the fact that most large cities were protected from Russian Bombers with missile systems that actually had nuclear warheads. Martin Sheen had at least twelve nuclear tipped missiles in his "Nuclear Free" Malibu in the 60's and 70's.

Nothing happened. Nothing blew up. No one glowed in the dark, unless they went to a Hippie party.

Kim Jong Il is a big movie buff, so LaLaland had better watch out. They produce a bad movie he doesn't like and he will send a missile right down Universal Studio's throat. For the rest of the USA it would be a win-win situation.

Hollyweird recently produced a movie where the NKs are the terrorists, or bad guys, or whatever. Sounds like Kim may be warming the motors to make Hollyweird glow. Some FReepers will have to help me out, the last movie I saw was "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson, and I saw it with DFU!

Indeed, we had a GREAT time at that movie. We booed when the L.A. TIMES ad came on the screen and I think I recall yelling out a few editorial comments.

Back to the missile defense shield:

"We would have been much further along had the Clinton administration not discontinued the research programs," said Frank Gaffney, executive director of the Center for Security Policy, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank. "The Bush administration was planning a space weapon system, which might have been deployed by now."
