I think to a lot of people, it happened on 9/11/01.

That happened to alot of people of I know. Before politics was almost fun and games. A circus, if you will, performing for our amusement. No one thought in times when the economy was booming and the Cold War was over that the political battles mattered. That facade was shattered like so many lives that dreadful day. I can still hear the anguish in my mother's voice 3000 miles away when we could not account for all of our family(4 worked in, under or next to the towers) during those terrible confusing early hours(by luck and circumstance all were eventually safe). And we were certainly among the lucky ones. After that day, many people said NEVER AGAIN!

No more fun and games, the stakes are real and the lives of our families, friends and fellow Americans are indeed at stake. Our enemies have already gotten a little taste of America's righteous rage. If they want more, Americans will be happy to serve it to them.

Oh well, the interview's been over for 45 mins now, but it was a classic. Miller's made the total conversion. It's good to have a famous Conservative convert.

Anxious to see what Donohole's numbers were this evening.

Miller: "Donhue, I want to continue to have an America for you to miss the point in"

Great comeback. I'll watch the replay in an hour.

No, Dennis Miller has bashed Clintoon for years, and God bless him for it.

Can anyone think of Donohue actually laughing? I don;t think he laughed once. He's so earnest and smarter than the rest of us!

Not a hint of humor in that peckerhead.

Miller was really great , but Donahue is an unworthy opponent for my 8 year old neice. I'm so old that I remember cringing when Miller was on Sat night live. Man oh man the word is getting around and some oeople are smart enough and have enough personal integrity to hear it.

Dennis Miller? Never heard of him...oh, wait, he's that little irrating easterner who loves the Klintoon.

That kind of thinking gives Conservatives a bad name. Miller voiced some very conservative views. Unfortunately, he claimed to be Pro-Choice, which is normally unforgivable in my book. But he called Donahue a hypocrite for being a pro-abortion Catholic, which needs to be said more often.

The guy certainly keeps it interesting.

I about hit the floor when he said the F word and it wasn't edited out. I can't believe that they were running this show live without a delay.

Oh, yeah, when Donahue pointed out that Tom Daschle trivialized Ridge's response to the current terror threat, he pointed out that when anthrax was found in Tommy's office, he ran away and didn't come back for about 4 years.

Welcome!

Dennis Miller was spectacular. Suggest those who didn't see it, to catch a rerun.

Dennis DID make a very big blunder, he used the "F" word, and said "F--- the sheep! He seemed to think that the Donahue show was on "delayed" timing, but they kept it in.

Hope there aren't any more problems for Dennis because of this slip of the tongue.

I never watch MSNBC. Accidentally tuned it in. It was AWESOME!! Miller is a convert to conservatism, explained that it happened prior to 9/11 when he went to N.Y., found the city a pleasant place to visit, as opposed to prior visits when it was infested with crime, beggars, etc. Then, he heard his liberal "friends" refer to Mayor Guilliani as a "nazi" - it was at that point that he began to rethink everything.

I was astounded at this entire show. I ran to my computer to alert Freepers, but could not get on! There was a problem! I cannot tell you all how frustrated I was. I wish all of you could have seen Miller blow ol' Phil out of the water. It was PRICELESS! So, too, was the Hardball episode following in which Mathews had the "Liberal Bias" author on at a live show on location at Miami University.

Well, who knows, I may even start tuning MSNBC in now! Great night of TV.

He enraged me enough to write MSNBC with a scathing email. Where does Donahue get off stepping on his liberal soapbox and bullying the conversation?!?

I just wish this particular show could have been broadcast on network tv. Miller would have brought in a sizable audience and he absolutely made toast of Donahue.

Dennis Miller was brilliant. You can take the boy out of Pittsburgh, but you can't take Pittsburgh out of the boy.
He probably grew up with guys like the characters in Deerhunter. Pittsburgh is the Republican part of the state.
I am not from Pittsburgh, but have met many from there. In my experience, they are unpretentious, hardworking and patriotic. Glad to see he hasn't gone Hollywood. He was funny and courageous, and he is the one guy who forced Donahue off his game. Donahue was convincingly destroyed
tonight. Hannity and Boortz couldn't do it, but Miller did.
