I suspect you are making the same mistake I did, unless you heard the tape in Arabic. I was thinking the same thing until I suddenly realized that BL would not have made the tape in English--all I was actually hearing was a translator :)

That's been a growing concern of mine lately. Bush has made more enemies now than any other president in history.

Clinton gave the socialist around the world all the power they craved. He threw money at everyone like candy at a gay parade.
Now that an adult is back in charge, they're fighting for survival. They're dieing in his country, so I'd guess the rest feel their fate is going to be the same.
Evil is being defeated. We need to keep up the good fight and pray for President Bushs success in all his endevors. With America behind him, he'll have the faith and courage to keep the pace.

OK, I see where this is going, Osama was killed at Tora Bora and they can't keep these phony tapes going indefinitely, so they take a bearded look-a-like suicide volunteer and have him blow himself up so it look like he died by his own hand fighting for Islam Instead of being snuffed by Special Ops.

This may be a mistranslation. He may have said; "I'm gonna blow my ass to pieces."

Ass being another word for donkey, it may have been translated into "steed", rather than "my butt".

I think he's ill. He looked ghostly in the last video we saw of him; I think he was injured in the mountains of Afghanistan and with his recurring health problems, is probably fighting a losing battle. I know I'm in the minority thinking he's still alive.

Why is Reuters treating Sept. 11th like it's a he said she said?

The planes really crashed, the buildings really burned and fell, the people really died and Osama really did claim credit for it.

In time, their references to events in these spliced tapes will sound more and more out of date. In think in the second to the last tape, there was an oblique reference to Bali. Of course, Indonesia has a big AQ presence and no doubt OBL has made tapes referencing a number of possible attacks there.

But with time these accidental hits will no longer be possible. Game up.

I'm not THAT dumb. His voice on the other tapes was velvety, smooth and very pleasant sounding. Not so on this one.

All experts who heard it yesterday said it does sound like him. I am talking about each cable channel's expert who knows bin Laden's voice, plus our own intelligence agency.

Please note, I am not saying it IS him, of course, though I do think it was his voice, but relaying what those who know his voice very well said.

Support must be shrinking for them to put out this kind of tape...perhaps they are worried about all the muslims in Iraq and need something to keep the sheep herds together. I still think Binny made a bunch of tapes before hand and they just keep playing those that fit the general landscape!

I don't care what any "expert" says about that. All I am saying is it did not sound like him to ME. Though certainly no expert in such matters I do have ears and can draw an opinion through them. I figure if I can distinguish Bach from Mozart and both from Handel I can distinguish voices. Of course, my memory has been known to play tricks with me. Now what was I saying?

If there's a videotape, there will be a large scale attack. If bin Laden appears in armor, I believe it will be a nuclear attack.

The first statement is based upon the history of Al Qaeda; the second is based upon certain passages in the Koran.

If he appears in armor, leave the cities immediately.
