Hey WhiskeyPapa, if you like the current GA flag so much, we Georgians would be more than happy to swap flags with you guys from Tennessee.

I think the Tennessee state flag is a nice one. It looks especially good next to Old Glory.

Interesting website here. The original unofficial Georgia Flag looks a lot like the new one:

The picture looks to have been a constant, that's been dressed up with Confederate symbolism in later years. This flag avoids that, and the little scroll, though its origins were in the regimental flags of the Rebellion.
