Former state Controller Kathleen Connell said Tuesday she will not get involved in an effort to recall Gov. Gray Davis.
"I've been critical in the past of some of his policies," said the fellow Democrat. "But the man won re-election. The focus should be on getting the budget balanced and revenue growth. Those are my only interests."

I swear, I have long since passed the point of holding my anger at this blatantly false term. Riordan is a moderate like Hitler is a humanitarian. He's a left-winger than many 'Rats were hoping to see grab the GOP nomination so they could elect him instead of Davis. I would vote for Davis 1,000 times before I'd ever vote for the textbook definition of RINO scum.
