Hell, I never accepted it because it flew in the face of my own personal experience. I lived in New Orleans for seven years and Atlanta for four. Both cities are gay Meccas. Nevertheless, fewer than 3 out of every 100 men I knew in either town were gay. Certainly fewer than the bogus figure of 1 in 10. So... I bothered to look up the report and the survey and the "science" behind it. As one with extensive indoctrination in the scientific method - for a layman - I found this soft-science sociology crap abhorrent.

I know what you mean :-( It haunts you...

I too hope that O'Reilly still does the show, but can see how it might get postponed. It's simply wonderful in my mind that this is getting attention after being ignored for so long!

I think even 3% is too high. It's such a perversion, it's probably more like .05 (although the way it's being promoted in the schools and by the media, it may be a little higher.

A lot depends upon the exact question asked. If one makes the question so broad that anyone who has ever looked with particular interest at the genitals of someone of the same sex would say "yes", then probably 10% of the public would qualify. If you inquire whether anyone has ever deliberately touched the genitals of someone else of the same sex, a lot of people would qualify for that too (including, of course, doctors and tailors for whom such contact, while non sexual in nature, is part of the job).

Of course, most people would not regard the above as defining someone as "homosexual". But such a person can be defined as a homosexual just as easily as a twenty-three-year-old gang-banger who gets shot in self defence can be called a "child killed by gun violence".

I saw it. First time I'd ever heard of Kinsey's REAL research. What a creep! I hope hell has a special spot just for him, especially hot.

No, he handled it very well and I think he believed her. I know I did.
