My appreciation to all how have (and will respond). Your answers are appreciated and they do help me understand this a bit more. (Though I still am sick of hearing about it.) Kudos to all.

I agree with you. It's just slow news right now. A person can only say so many times that Germany and France won't vote our way. (and Fox has already surpassed that number) There are hundreds of missing persons. I think the media could pick most any one of them and make it into a story that the "whole nation" was watching.

That's my only complaint about Fox News. Whatever story they decide to run with.... they run it into the ground until it is dead, post mortem, burned out, old, tiresome, run down, ground in..... and then they talk about it more.

I wouldn't mind FOX (the only channel I watch for news) covered it in one program per evening, like Greta's, but they have to cover it in every news program, ad nauseum. Same for Michael Jackson. She's gone, just like Elizabeth Smart is gone, and she may never be found. Hopefully both of their bodies will show up one day and families can at least bury them. It's very sad but like you say, it's overdone. Everything is overdone, no matter what the tragedy.

Thanks for being gracious about it.

Don't take this the wrong way, okay? But what I am sick of hearing about is: those who are sick of hearing about it.

P.S. Thank you for starting a separate thread for your thoughts. Much better than trying to mix them in with the news and comments of those following the mystery.
