Al Qaida is known to plan large-scale simultaneous attacks on dates that have some significance to past actions or events. September 11, 2001 is the mother of all significant events, and I suggest today may be just such a date for an attack against US interests -- it's a Tuesday and the 11th day of the 2nd month. In the mind of a dedicated islamist, it could be a good day to launch the 2nd wave.

Hi.... I really hope you are wrong, too. Getting a bit nervous reading this thread. I live about an hour west of NYC, have 2 children, plus hubby is going to be on business just outside Washington, DC for the next 3 days. :-( Don't mean to offend, but I REALLY, REALLY hope you are wrong...
