No big surprise they're bringing back all of old USSR stuff. The whole lower half of the Russian Duma is old hard line Communists. I'd trust Putin as far as I could throw him. I'm still not convinced that he doesn't want to see a second coming of the mighty Soviet Empire. They've also reinstated in some places, the old hammer and sicyle flag if I remember correctly.
