Kudos to India. Unlike the US, who think we can calm down the entire geopolitical chaos based solely on fighting so called roque states and non-state actors, India still, thankfully, realize that war between great powers is more likely than at any time since 1945. Perhaps the US will be the WW-II UK equivalent in the coming conflict, and India will be the WW-II US equivalent? Let's hope that when the US gets blitzed, we'll survive well enough to still be worth India's fighting to save us.

Right after 9/11, Jaswant Singh, Foreign Minister, gave an interview on FOX in which he spoke about 9/11 as a transformational event, akin in impact to Churchill's speech in Independence, Missouri, decrying the falling of the Iron Curtain on Europe.
