Absolutely. India has less of a chance of using such technology against the US than well, France! They won't even be selling this or related technology to enemies of the US because India and the United States have the same enemies.

Besides, China has already attacked India once, and Pakistan is constantly supporting terrorist actions within Kashmir and India itself.

Instead of worrying about molehills, the administration should ask itself how beneficial a nuclear democracy will be in that region.
