Take Heart; Stand Firmly — America Has Been Challenged Before

Friday morning, George Bush and his lovely wife Laura, attended a prayer breakfast and if there ever was a time for prayer, it is certainly now, as we stand on the brink of war, first against the dangerous dictator Saddam, next as we look towards North Korea (the nuke program greatly assisted by the horrific Clintons, notwithstanding Mrs. William Jefferson Blythe Rodham Clinton´s recent blame-fest against the current President). At the precise moment Secretary of State Powell was providing irrefutable evidence (unless you´re one of Saddam´s mouthpieces and have no concept of the meaning of the word proof), presented to the soon-to-be-obviously-defunct United Nations, North Korea gave us their own irrefutable proof by activating their nuclear weapons program for the world to see.
Secretary Powell gave us a smattering of the intelligence at State by playing recordings of complicit Iraqis hiding evidence, videos of planes spraying what could eventually be poisons, locations of activities removing WMD evidence and materiel, training camps for the usage of those poisons, yet he did not give enough to put at risk the human intelligence and technical capacity of the United States. It was quite a show.
What Powell didn´t cover, though, are some of things that Saddam is noted for in print here and abroad. When his sons were young, their birthdays were marked with movies, insane movies of human beings being tortured. Gee, some of us just get a clown to go with the ice cream and birthday cake. When his sons were older, Saddam continued to display his uncommon and reprehensible contempt for human life by continuing these little home movies occasions. Later, when one of Saddam´s grown son´s had not shown the ultimate loyalty by going abroad and speaking out, on his return, his father´s-love had a bomb placed in his car. Not perishing in the blast, what a shame, Saddam´s son lived to be a cripple who runs the propaganda business for dear, old dad. And when a college girl rebuffed one of Saddam´s sons, he had her picked up, raped and dumped. Obviously that son has a real hard time with rejection.
I ask you: can children raised on terror and torture turn out anything other than monsters following in their father´s footsteps? I also understand, from reports in the media, that there are torture chambers in the basements of Saddam´s new, hundred-plus gold-plated palaces. All we have publicly heard has been about Saddam´s using chemical agents to kill his own innocent Kurdish population in the northern part of Iraq. But these reports are just the tip of this malevolent iceberg. When we successfully exterminate the vermin running Iraq, more atrocities will be made public, including those we already know about and have most recently heard.
Brace yourself and find strength in prayer, for what is about to come out will chill the very marrow of those strongest amongst us. While the Clintons´ fiddled, the scourge of the most inhumane and depraved kind of terrorism burned brightly in the Islamist heart. I have said it before, will say it again: the Clintons co-presidency sowed the wind and the world will reap the whirlwind. Hillary may have been the first First Lady to invite the Hamas celebrants to break the Ramadan Fast at a White House dinner; Bill may have been the first president to welcome known terrorists like Gary Adams (who´s IRA soldiers trained in the terror camps of the Sudan) and the odious murderer Arafat, who wants only to drive Israel into the sea, but it is we Americans who will foot those dinner bills. I think it´s time to say “Grace”.
And even though I do realize it is seemingly the Muslim faith that is allowed in America nowadays, only the might of the true loving Creator will seize the days to come. Uniting in prayer for the desired outcome of this dangerous world will go a long ways toward ensuring our children and grandchildren a world of hope, promise and achievement towards the American dream, both home and in nations abroad, whose populace understand the true value of freedom. While we stand on the brink of danger, we also approach the time when we will know we can fly off the cliff as well, soaring to heights only dreamt of last century. But first we must clean up the toxic mess left to us by those corrupted and just plain evil.
As we choose whether to be on the side of the victor or the vanquished, make no mistake, the inevitable renewal, as we force the snakes to shed their skins, is close at hand. We will see the Promised Thousand Years of Peace, even though some may wish otherwise. Nothing will stop progress and progress is always towards freedom and liberty. When the going gets rough, as it surely will in the long days to come, concentrate on that which we want, that which we have faith will be the new tomorrow and it shall be so. Simple, yes, but true nonetheless.
America has been challenged before, and mightily so; we have fought against tyranny and oppression time and time again and this time will be no different in our ultimate victory. Take heart; stand firmly and intrepidly on your feet because America will never live on her knees. Nope, won´t happen, not now, not ever. Resolve and courage in the face of extreme testing has only made this country the great Republic she is and nothing will change that, no dictator, no corrupt politicians, no craven propagandist media, no evil of any kind. Look to our past to see tomorrow and pray that it be made manifest. The power of prayer is the power of the mind and a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
