Unexcused leave? We used call it being AWOL, 29 days later it is called desertion.

It's only AWOL/desertion if they forget to carry their Clinton-era "Timeout" cards.

Yeh, I was asking myself the same thing. UA (Unauthorized Absence) was what it was called when I was in. So now its calle UL (Unexcused Leave)?
