Wow! FR makes the Times! I must be dreaming!

I expect a surge in traffic once NY Times subscribers read this. And with that, a whole new crop of disruptors. It will be busy enough with war imminent -- I sure hope JimRob and company are prepared! I can't imagine what I'd do if FR were down during the opening hours of the war. I've become spoiled, expecting to read of breaking events within seconds of their occurrence!

Same here... as a matter of fact, I hit Free Republic as soon as I heard the shuttle was gone. I kept reading updates before they hit the news on the TV behind me.

I was just thinking the other way. Drudge linked a Paglia thread yesterday and now this.

Welcome to new Lurkers and Members. We don't bite, usually.

Not to fear...check out the Admin Moderators posts on this thread....and although they are keeping a watchful eye out for disruptors, it's important that we do the same and post a ZOT alert whenever we notice a disruptor

Hey, mods...lighten up a little

I get most of my news via FR, have for around five or six years, and could not imagine being without it anymore. God bless Jim Robinson for this site, and also God bless all the wonderful and interesting FReepers who make this site so rich in information and lively discussion. The best site on the Web, bar none, as far as I'm concerned.
