Gee what are France and Germany hoping for.... Munich Agreement II?

It is indeed unfortunate from the French and German perspective that the conference is being held in Munich. It is fortunate from ours because it opens a rich vein of rememberance and irony.

<< Seems to me that alot of Europeans, deep in their pessimistic, fatalist hearts, were more or less OK with Sept. 11 . >>
Most EURO-peons, by far, were -- and are -- of the envy-motivated and hatred and rage-engined, hesperophobic, opinion that we "had it coming" and were as quick to blow out their collectivists' arses their moral-relativists' PoMoBabbling suggestion that "because so much hatred was directed toward US," Our Beloved FRaternal Republic "obviously needed to take stock of itself and to take a moral inventory."
Only twelve years after President Reagan took care of their Soviet enemy -- and eight years of the KKKli'toons' crawling EURO-peon-styled trailer-trashism -- they've gotten a little big for the boots the KKli'toon crime-family's sychophants had been licking -- and are only slowly adjusting to the fact that, particularly post September 11 2001, Our Nation doesn't give a **** what any of them opine!

If say, America starts talking about extending NAFTA as an alternative to Eastern Europe to EU membership, you might see the EU collapse very rapidly. What a wildly good idea!

Munich Conference Opens Wonder if the Germans intended for the location to be symbolic. They had such success with the British at the last Munich peace conference.
"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time... Go home and get a nice quiet sleep."

"In the latest development, the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag has reported that the United States is reportedly putting economic pressure on Berlin."They're right. Not sure, but I think Siemens may have just lost a lucrative contract with one of our hospital chains -- may have even been Frist's. We can support this effort to put economic pressure on Schroeder & Co. by practicing our own "dollar diplomacy" in a boycott.
The German auto industry is vulnerable -- Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Daimler-Chrysler, VW. Also targetable are all the German beer imports as well as wines. Machinery. Machine tools. Pharmaceuticals. Software. Electronics. Then there's Bertelsmann AG, the German media giant that owns publishers like Random House -- which in turn has many subsidiaries such as Ballantine, Bantam Dell, Knopf, The Modern Library (more are listed under the "publishers" link at the Random House home page). They own many magazines such as Bon Apetit and even rags like Princeton Review. Also guides such as the Fodor's Travel series. Then there are small presses they own, like Waterbrook Press and Shaw books.
The US accounts for about 10% of German imports. I'd like to see that figure comes down to about 0%.

"They had such success with the British at the last Munich peace conference."They sure did.

Interesting and enlightening.
Our neighbors say that Italy is also required to accept immigrations standards imposed by the EU, not those adopted by their own government.
Another problem they speak of is how the open borders and liberal drug laws of other nations is causing dramatic problems in other countries that have stricter drug laws...the drugs are flowing freely and with deadly results.

Like I've said, I've been boycotting German companies since Schroeder decided to turn his campaign in to America bashing.
