Yes, "series" seems to be an affectionate, insider FR joke...cracks me up every time somebody uses it, just like "all your rants are belong to us". Always makes me smile.

I understand what you mean, though, about proper spelling...it sure makes reading and grasping meanings difficult, doesn't it? It's having to decode as you go...so tedious.

Another difficulty I have is with posters who don't use paragraphs...argh. My personal preference for displaying my own irritating writing habits: Using those obnoxious little dots all the time.
