CNN just announced that President Bush will speak at 4:30. That's all they said. Didn't sound like it was previously scheduled.

And you think THIS is that address, he asked astoundedly. I haven't heard a single person mention that speech since he promised it...it's like everyone forgot. Is this it? Who knows?

I think Bush will draw a "line in the sand". One last deadline for Saddam before our boys lock and load.

Bets on what this is about, anyone? The toothache? Dunno, might need a root canal. Oh, did you mean Bush and Powell? LOL.

According to Fox, he is going to talk with Powell first, then address the nation. Why do you think they said it that way?

President Bush: "I report to the world Saddam is no longer with us. You see, there was a slight mishap today."

I think they'll be answering all those anti-American questions along the lines of: "If you know about those bad places in Iraq, how come you haven't done anything about them?"
I bet they'll announce we're beginning to seek and destroy as we choose.

Helen bashes Ari everyday. Honestly, that man has the patience of a saint. If it were me, Helen would be banished to the outer darkness.

Well, since the war has to happen, what better timing could there be than to preempt Clinton AND Michael Jackson?

My dream script:
Walk on.
Bush: "The liberation of Iraq has begun."
Walk off.

I expect this will be a statement to the effect that "Well, we just laid out a convincing case that Iraq is in violation of all their agreements and pose a grave danger to the world. What Colin Powell presented to the U.N. and to Congress is just the tip of the iceberg. But we gave them all the information we could without compromising our intelligence sources. If the U.N. does not act on this latest information, the United States will. Good evening."

I'm betting it's another "one last chance" speech... And this time we really mean it! Really!

I wonder if he'll mention President Reagan's birthday. That's probably not the (entire) reason for his speech, I would imagine, but President Bush is pretty thoughtful about such things.
