well, Michael, apparently the German gevernment is good at dishing it out, but not good at taking it. Have you hears our president talk in those terms about Schroeder? Even last month in Hessen the SPD, desperate at winning said "We will not click our heels for Bush". You believe that that wasn't understood by America? Clicking your heels is something the German Military was used to during WW2. Does that mean they meant to equate Bush with Hitler, I don't think so, however parallels could be drawn. Have you heard anything from Washington in response? NO.
The shift is definately very apparent.
