The Australian Senate passed a non-confidence motion against Prime Minister John Howard today in connection with the deployment of Australian troops against Iraq.

The motion is the first resolution of this type in Australian history.

The opposition accuses Mr. Howard of sending Australian soldiers to war without consulting the nation, the Parliament, and without a sanction from the United Nations.

At the same time the United States of American initiated the deployment of two dozen B-52 bombers and B-1 bombers to Guam in the anticipation of a possible military intervention in North Korea.

Regular withdrawals of US Soldiers from South Korean bases have been cancelled.

John Howard can't protect his own citizens from terrorist attacks at the hands of Muslims in his own detention centers.

Hell, he can't even protect his own citizens from brush fires.
