Screw the 'international community'. They all support their favorite little dictatorships, and many run their countries in similar fashion. American interests are our business, as it grows more and MORE apparent.

Powell's job is to present the evidence of Iraq's non-compliance with the various UN resolutions. Tipping off the inspectors is the very last of his concerns; we're way beyond that now.

Can we guarantee that there will be no production of anthrax somewhere in Iraq? Can you guarantee there is none in New Jersey?"Funny you should bring this up Mr. Blix. Some would call this a freudian slip. Are you saying there is a connection?

Blix warns the Iraquis before each inspection to make sure they have enough time to move everything.
Heck I might do the same thing in his place. I have no doubt it has been explained to him that he and his inspectors will never leave Iraq alive if they find anything.
Keystone Cops did a better job than these inspectors.

Tip what hand? The Iraqi's have had them bugged and surveilanced since the beginning!!! ;) Too funny.

"I assume that he's not going to indicate any sites which we should visit because I would assume that the United States would have given the sites to us rather than telling the Iraqis that here is where we think the inspectors should go," said Blix, executive chairman of the U.N. Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission. Emphasis added.
Onc can clearly see from this statement that even Hans Blix believes that the Iraqi regime is guilty of concealment, and the Iraqi regime, if given the opportunity, would take active measures not to facilitate confirmation of Iraqi disarmament (inspections), but frustrate and hinder that effort.

"We do not feel that there is sufficient or adequate Iraqi cooperation on substance." He explained that was why he didn't ask the council for more time, because he doesn't know when substantive cooperation would come, if ever.
Material breach. No need for the U.N's further machinations.
Let's roll!
