Australia's PM just hopped on the bus too. I think Powell's "Adlai Stevenson moment" dossier has been making the rounds ahead of time and changing some minds. Ari Fleischer insists that the Powell speech doesn't contain any smoking guns or sensational evidence, but something is getting these doves on board—if not that, what?

One thing has struck me of late: How much the admin. has been downplaying expectations of a smoking gun. This can mean they authentically don't have a "smoking gun", per se, but it *could* also be that old standard of politics...lower the expectations and any evidence seems like a REAL bombshell. Just been running around in my head lately. ;-)

The coalition is coming together. The new moon is soon. Once more unto the breach...
