"Hmmm.. The Socialist Republic of Kalifornia strikes again."

"Can the States of the United States come together and vote to do away with a State? Kalifornia does not speak for the rest of the country nor does it abide by the laws of the land...seem like if we voted them in the union we could vote them out!"

"Anyone who voluntarily lives in Kalifornia deserves what he/she gets in my humble opinion."

Can any of you read? Try it again below!

The VPC's most recent efforts directs this misinformation campaign at your state, attempting to get any California body to pass any law against .50 caliber firearms. In March 2002 the VPC caused the California State Assembly, Public Safety Committee to consider and reject the issue by a 5 to 0 with 1 abstaining vote.

The State of California got it right for a change. The City of Angels is another story.

Where LA leads, often California follows. One would hope that this is one time where this does not happen, however my hopes are not too high. California has also enacted some of the most asnine and draconian firearms restrictions of any state. Most of these efforts were led and supported by LA and SF politicians and "special action groups" funded heavily by out-of-state money.
Ca is the testing ground for future socialist/New Democrat policy directed at the entire nation. These policies are not only directed at 2nd Amendment rights, but also at the family structure, education, and other basic building blocks of our nation as it stands today. The chaos / corruption of LA stands as a shining example of what is in store for all of us if the brakes are not applied now. The re-election of Gov. Davis by the STATE of California shows that the rot has spread. There are a huge number of very fine people, both "liberal" and "conservitive" that call California home, however too many of their fellow Californians have bought into the New Democrat lie and they suffer for it.
When the Government of California repeals some of the more idiotic and worthless restictions it has saddled its citizens with in the name of "crime prevention" and "public safety", I'll belive that they are trying to chart a more reasonable course for all the people of California. Untill then - the "Socialist Republic of Kalifornia" will remain that way, at least to me.
