It seems that Harrison Ford doesnt think President Bush is green enough. Then again, he doesnt think Kermit the Frog is either.
Using a fuel-guzzling helicopter, Ford routinely watches over the Hudson River and blows the whistle on polluters. But the actor is apparently unhappy about the presidents environmental patter in the State of the Union address.
Bush spoke about an initiative to prevent forest fires. And he praised some programs that help the environment and the economy, such as hydrogen-fueled cars.
That was a fascinating construction of the president's, Ford sarcastically told the New York Daily News, about how he was safeguarding the environment. It was very interesting.
Fords barb was delivered at a preview of his new film, Hollywood Homicide, the one that just happens to include some spectacularly long and involved car chase scenes.
The Left Coast Report is comforted to know that Ford is such a nature lover and is safeguarding the environment. Do you suppose he insisted that the chase scenes in the movie be done with hybrid cars? If not, at least we know hes conserving food. After all, his dinner partner is Calista Flockhart.

Alas, Han Solo is a jack*ss. I'm not surprised. But the real question is what Chewie thought of the SOTU.

I think the fact that he's dating Ally McBeal speaks volumes about his mental state.

Hey, Hollywood!
Shut up!!

Amen to that. An absolute pr**k. I used to love this actor because he did not stoop to the levels of Hollywood posturing. Now it seems he is doing his damnedest to catch up with all the other idiotarians.

Ford is pathetic. He was stoned most of the time on set while shooting ESB and ROTJ. I have a radio interview of him where he is mumbling and incoherent. To make matters worse, he is now going through the classic ' I wanna be young again' phase- at 60! Spiked hair and earrings included. Most old grandpa's start chasing young girls ( Flockhart is younger than Fords oldest sons), but playing Han Solo in a helicopter at 60 isn't real smart.
He's just a pathetic man desperate to stay relevant when he has only one schtick as an actor( action hero) and he's WAY past his prime.
Sean Connery Ford ain't. Millionaire, gas-guzzling ,liberal, hypocrite, pot-head he is. And lord, is he homely.

When was the last time Harrison Ford had a hit? I remember he had that dud with, the now radioactive, Anne Heche. Other than that, I can't remember the last time he had a blockbuster. I guess he is another one who thinks that, just because he portrayed a U.S. President in a movie, he is entitled to set policy.
