I've watched it.

It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together.

I can remember we had a safe one time that would not open with the combination after it had been reset so they called the locksmith over to get it open for us while the General was fuming as he needed a document.

Turned out the guy in the office that thought he had reset the numbers used the old ones instead of the new ones. Talk about feeling foolish -- the guy wanted to run and hide.

I remember the carbons too on the hand receipts for secret -- Yuck!

I received a call one time on the weekend (Saturday night) to go the Command Post to pick up an Urgent Top Secret -- all the document had was a message to change the code word for a project. The guys in the Command Post thought it was funny that in the middle of a date I am called in -- bet they wouldn't have called my boss!

Maybe the powers that be should put a little fear in the people handling classified but then we had eight years of Clinton non-security.

There used to be some very serious problems with wives wearing the husbands rank on their shoulder. There were certain wives that brought a chill to everything the
ranking person did. We knew just who the b**** was before the new commander arrived. Her reputation arrived months before her. Most wives are fully supportive and helpful. It looks as though Mrs. Franks may be on the "A" list and her
actions and his inablity to separate her out from his assignment may cost him dearly. His staff should never put up with a wife sitting in on anything regarding his position. She is not alone in her power grab. She has company. He is one of the few I have heard of allowing
his spouse to be in on military issues. Usually they are involved in the social issues.

People who aren't familiar with the military wouldn't have a very good sense about security. Sometimes it sounds odd and overdone, but one little detail is all an enemy may need to put something together.

As to indoctrination, Uncle Sam was always watching :-).

Called in from a date for a stupid code message? Yeah, could happen :-). That would have been taken seriously, too. And I can relate to generals fuming. They said jump and everybody's adrenaline kicked in. That used to kinda tick me off.

At least those generals took their jobs and their country very seriously.

They aren't worth the $3.50. The AF is ripping us off! LOL!

The two I've had were pretty darn good for $3.50. I think they had a couple of packaged snacks, a couple of apples, two cans of soda, a sandwich, and a packaged dessert cake of some sort. Best airline food I've had. Too bad the rest of the flight wasn't more enjoyable (we had to turn around and go back to Travis because of a blown visor seal - ended up having to buy one-way tickets last minute from San Francisco to HNL because my husband had a change-of-command he HAD to attend the next day).
