I only grudgingly support the attack on Iraq because it is good imperial policy: it drops oil prices to take money out the Saudi's pocket's (and thus indirectly the terrorists), gives us a good foothold next to both Saudi Arabia and Iran, if played right strengthens the moderates in Iran by showing us libertating Shi'ites from the secularized but Sunni-dominated Ba'athist regime, and provides an object-lesson to North Korea.
Now can we get a second head added to the American eagle? (After all the faith-based services initiative sounds to me like an attempt to revive the Byzantine symphony of powers). :-)==== (Eastern Orthodox monastic smiley: long beard.)
