Don't misunderstand.. I said his politics represented the policies that left Saddam in place.
He's always been dovish.. I wasn't blaming him personally, but his style of politics (the coalition building, UN, "hands tied" types. Baker and such.) represents the reason Saddam is still there to begin with.
I just figure that the Sec. of State's job is to be diplomatic, and the Sec. of Defense's job is to play the "big stick". Good cop; bad cop--until you get the desired results.
