I used to
wash my hands in TCE several times per day when I ran automatic screw machines years ago. We also used it to clean machine tools prior to painting. Many times I've been light-headed from the fumes, and numbness in the face really is a symptom of exposure.
Gives you kind of a funny feeling to think about that...

Well, acknowledging your problem is the first step toward being able to remediate it.

Gee, an abandoned well just west of the airport...
Plus (unidentified) trucks dumping (unidentified) fluids (multipole times) at (multiple) nights into that abandoned well....
And this fact was well-known in public forums 10 years ago!
AND THESE F**KING GOVERNMENT IDIOTS SPEND 16 YEARS TRYING TO TRACK DOWN THE SOURCE!
Yeah right.
Bush is "so anti-environment isn't he? .... Shows you the quality of these so-called enviromental experts that Clinton-Clinton-Gore claim they hire.
8 years of Clinton's pro-environment intrusive federal government, and they can't even find ONE DUMP SITE AT ONE LOCAL AIRPORT when they know the plume trace and the local history.
One story on the web and we have a (verifiable) eye-witness and open meeting logs at the airport that can produce the complete story.
The best the imperial federal government can come up for all their millions of research is "possible" spray cleaners used on several "possible" private airplanes. And,of course, more land-use restrictions.

Let me know what you find out about that 1-1-1 Trichloroethane... I once worked in a place where we used it to clean aluminum. It would leave a funny taste in your mouth when you touched it or got it on your hands, so we would eat a candy when we used it.
I was always afraid to go out and see what it will cause later in life...
