There was another shuttle disaster, and do can you tell me what changes were made?

Can you? Can you tell me how the two wrecks are related?

How many of those in command were fired? Demoted? Given reprimands? I believe the answer is none.

I don't know.... But I don't destroy people I don't know, over issues and motives I don't know. Do you?

What was the reaction of NASA, when Apollo 13 was in trouble?

They did one hell of a job, their gamble worked.

They had 16 days to attempt to solve this problem, presumably they discounted the danger, and rolled the dice so to speak.

You would presume they didn't give a damn. I know that they told us they discussed it at length, and came to a determination about what they should do.

They deserve much worse than criticism, they deserve to be grilled and if found culpable, fired without compensation. Beyond that, civil liablility wouldn't seem to be out of the question.

Really? - You already know not only the cause, but the culpable people that should be fried for it? - You are good. These so called experts have just barely started looking at the problem. And all they had to do was ask you.... Silly experts.....

The cause has been tentatively pinpointed, damage to the left wing on lift-off. Obviously mistakes were made that led to the problems occuring. A different tact would have not necessarily brought about a different result, but questions must be raised, and changes must occur. The first shuttle disaster was the result of ignoring the specific warnings of the design engineers re the seals performance during cold temps. The second was likely the result, of ignoring the warnings of maintenance and visible damages, caused by previous tile displacements, and a disregard for the effects of those upon each mission. Remember the pictures of tiles missing, they have been shown many times. It also seems that the move to an environmental friendly insulation, on the platform, that is more likely to shed, and cause damage to the orbiter. I don't have answers, I am not supposed to, but I have many questions. Those of mine and many others, deserve to be vetted, and answered with changes, and much introspection, not sweeping things under the rug, or increasing the budget of NASA.
