this is very bad news.... hopefully the guys are still alive... if they have been able to get out, they have a chance for survival because they have parachutes...unlike during 51-L. They need to find the debris and the guys.

Unless they burned up during reentry.

NO... something occurred at 200,000 feet.

They need to see if they can locate the astronauts... I don't know if there's a chance of them surviving... they're going so fast that even if they can get out... they're still going 12,000 miles per hour.

they are saying it was at 2000 feet over centeral Texas, so it already went thru the earths atmosphere. But, I guess it could have had problems, during re-entry.
