We watched "We were soldiers", with Mel Gibson last night, and I thought my tear ducts were emptied for a while. My parents had watched the lift-off at the cape just 16 days ago, and my Mom was so excited about the spectacle of it all. We so often forget the courage of our service people!

Between 'We Were Soldiers" and "Braveheart," I thought too my tear ducts were tapped out for a good year or so.

True, the shuttle flights seems so routine since they restarted the program around 15 years ago. Every one of those astronauts (as well as all in the service) deserve our gratitude and prayers, for all they have done. God bless them!
