But, what 17 year old would call 911 to say that her dad told that she makes him miserable and want to know if that was child abuse. Maybe I could understand a 12-13 year old doing something like that. But a 17 year old, "honor student" should know better. In fact there are many 17 year olds who were double-promoted etc. already away from home at college.

I realize she had a less than normal childhood, but from this article at least it sounds like she's a spoiled brat. They should have slapped her with a fine for mis-using 911.

I wonder what the kids' attitude to the murder of their mother is? They were both very young when it happened but as they reach adulthood, they're both going to develop critical faculties and start evaluating various trains of thought.

The girl is now 17. I wonder if, on occassion, when she looks at her father in situations of conflict, she sees an angry, violent man who is well capable of taking a knife to someone?
