Judicial Watch loses appeal of injunction against IRS for retaliatory audit

JUDICIAL WATCH, INC. v. ROSSOTTI, No. 02-1413 (4th Cir. January 24, 2003). The Anti-Injunction Act bars requested injunctive relief against the IRS for a purportedly retaliatory tax audit, and no recognized exception to the Act applies.

Judicial Watch alleged that the tax audit was retaliation for its filing of a document, which was introduced into the Congressional record, during the Clinton impeachment. It filed for an injunction against the IRS, but lost now at the federal district court and appellate court level (Fourth Circuit).

I think it's more like they "loused it" (again).
Although Larry was responsible for exposing a lot about the clintoon administration, those facts are not taken seriously. Rather, they are dismissed along with his other kookiness.
