Vanity

Posted on 01/27/2003 9:15:10 PM PST by RugerM77

The CBS show-"King of Queens" tonight featured a story line about a 4 Year-Old boy who kept feeling the breasts of the adult female character-Through her clothes- Would someone please explain to me-Why is not this considered pedophilia?-

Because the chick wasn't the instigator, I guess. Pedophilia is adult-on-child crime, not child-on-adult (if there is such a thing). Frankly, I'm surprised that Patricia Heaton countenanced such a thing.

pedophilia -

sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object.

Sounds like this was the other way around.

Why would Patricia Heaton from "Everyone Loves Raymond care what happens on "King of Queens"?

He's not perverted,
he's precocious.

It's certainly in bad taste, but that's current television. Pedophilia, though, would be sexual interest by adults in children, not children behaving inappropriately towards adults. Having raised a few kids, in the real world, children are curious about adult bodies, and generally don't think about taboos. You sometimes have to tell them, "we don't touch people there."

In any event, if you had one of the adult characters grabbing a child in inappropriate places, that would be pedophilia.

What's the family hour? Is that the hour when certain people demand that the only thing on TV can be Michael Landon shows?

Guess you were never a young curious male child. I agree, the kid was precocious.

So, I am not allowed to watch anything interesting at 8 o'clock because that's when your kids watch TV? My child is done at 7:30. What is she stayed up till 9, could I then demand that you are not allowed to watch anything good at 9?

I don't see what the big deal is. My daughter only watches Noggin, Disney, and occasionaly the Cartoon Network depending upon what is on.

Older kids have Cartoon Network, Nikelodeon, etc.

The problem is that some people want to sit their kid down in front of 300 TV channels with the remote and let them surf on their own, without there being any chance of that kid coming across any mature content.

No...I expect there to be SOME MAINSTREAM STATIONS that have kid friendly stuff till 9pm...there's plenty of other channels (cable) out there, and you know it.

Mainstream meaning what? You have to watch channel 2? Why can't you watch Nikelodeon? Do you buy into the Peter Jennings/Tom Brokaw line that somehow the networks are better stations then any other?

No - it's not full-fledged pedophilia... not yet!
But it's coming.

The history of American debauchery and degeneracy since the sixties...
1st came women's lib and free love. ('60s)
Then abortion-on-demand. ('70s)
Then anti-family, anti-marriage attacks. ('80s)
Then homosexuality. ('90s)
The next will be pedophilia - AND YOU CAN BET YOUR LIFE ON IT.

Like those progressive, open-minded Europeans, children will be sexualized as toddlers, taught that their bodies are for sex, and that older adult "sex-mentors" are necessary to help "guide" them through childhood and puberty.

Kids aged 8, 10 or 12 will be encouraged to explore their newfound sexual feelings and express them in the "safety" of an adult "tutor/counselor".

Just watch for the coming signs:

* More "jokes" and movies and sitcom themes hinting at it (first we joke, then we confront, then we accept - it worked for gays) And HERE it is - THIS is just the first step...

* Political movements to increase rights for children (lower the voting age, drinking age, etc.) Kids these days are smarter than we were back then ya' know.

* Psychiatric "studies" indicating that "gentle and caring" adult/child sex is not as damaging to children as we previously thought.

* A few cases of adult/child relationships (adult women/young teen males will be the first) will be highly publicized, though not criticized by the non-judgemental Media. This is the watershed towards "progressive" discussions about "tolerating" some of these "loving and healthy consensual" relationships.

MARK MY WORDS - SHORT OF A CULTURAL REVOLUTION OR DIRECT INTERVENTION BY GOD, IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AS SURE AS THE SUN RISES IN THE EAST.

PEDOPHILIA WILL BE FIRST LAUGHED AT, THEN TOLERATED AND THEN ACTUALLY CELEBRATED IN AMERICA - - ALL IN OUR LIFETIMES!!
