You know where these laws have their roots don't you?
The morons who have their big, bad dogs tied to chains in the yard. Somebody gets bit and voila no more than three animals per household.
Instead of dealing with a case by case issue, as the law prescribes, they either ban a certain breed or restrict ownership of all animals.
Be careful what you wish for, it may come true.

Ding ding! We have a winner. You are absolutely right. We have a dog (and we are planning on getting another), a cat, a tortoise, a few turtles, and some birds. Yes, everyday starts with an assembly line to get everyone fed, outside, etc.

Because of idiots that have no clue how to take care of anything, we have stupid laws.
