Tony Blair has known for months that nasty things were coming down the pike. This is why the liberal of Europe has simply forsaken all liberal values and hooked onto the Bush agenda. MI-5 knows of various planning efforts underway. One has to wonder if the French secret police or the German BND are so stupid to discover these events or that their politicans simply can't believe anyone would destroy civilization or European society in such a manner.

So now, ask yourself...why would anyone have chem suits around their apartment? Obviously, they felt the need. After this was briefed to Tony and the cabinet...I bet they sat there for five minutes not saying a word. Just trying thinking of a scenario where 8,000 Brits are dead in 24 hours from a gas or bio attack. The chaos alone would be enough to bring down an entire government. Schools would have to be canceled because no one would trust the government to protect their kids. Every single adult would have mistrust of anyone that is not a true Brit...so there would be a huge number of Pakistanis and Africans heading toward airports to leave the country because of death threats. Even Blair's job, as aggressive as he has been would likely falter and require new elections.

The bottom line here...is that there is a thin line between a mild threat where people just talk....and where people actually have poisons, suits, and plans going on. We appear to have crossed that line...and life will not be the same.

Well said...........I live 50 miles from Dearborn, Michigan, A rational man would have to conclude that death and destruction is also being planned in local mosques.
