The guy was in advanced stages of hypothermia. I doubt he looked like much of a threat. The guy was probably blue, shivering and completely uncoordinated. What a great example the father provided for his child.


If he was concerned about his child's safety, then he should have found a way to get help for this man without leaving. Even if he stayed in the area, he would be there if the man collapsed. That way he could make sure the man didn't just lay there and die.


BTW.......while I think you are off-base about the proper way to respond to this emergency, I completely agree with you about font size and color.
