Ah, yes! My favorite subject - Dairy Compacts!! This most recent farm Bill has a cheap version of the Dairy Compact. The northeast farmers have lost again. And yet a double wammy - Canadian Milk which finds its way accross the border into the New England states. Have we all had enough of the MILC payment system? I predict the Dairy Compact Bill will get reintroduced - without Jeffords name - in the near future. Oh, by the way - yes California cheese is great, but the Wisconsin Cheeseheads think their cheese is better, but the Ohio Amish cheese is better yet.
