On the contrary, "unfit" (in this case, stupid) individuals getting weeded out of the gene pool as a direct consequence of their shortcomings is classic natural selection at work.

Following generations will have an improved gene pool as a result.

Speaking of evo devotees, I wonder how many of them overall support the war in Iraq. After all, isn't part of evolutionary theory the survival of the fittest? If we blow Iraq off the map, isn't that just part of the whole 'natural selection' thing?
