I say the proof of that statement is in the budget. You say the proof refuting it is in their words.

I guess in your view words speak louder than actions.

Get back to me when they actually shrink the budget, not just the projected rate of growth.

The GOP has controlled the White House 14 of the last 20 years. They have controlled the Senate 14 of the last 20 years and the House 8 years running.

What has happened to Federal spending in this time?

Democrats are tax and spend, Republicans are borrow and spend.
