Tie me kangaroo down!! Beautiful country, wonderful people. Yeah, they have more than their share of lefties too, but it seems like the Aussies are always with us at crunch time. Always the Brits, always the Aussies. God bless the English language.

The Aussies are well aware that they are in the crosshairs of Islamic Jihad. The Bali attack confirmed it. They are also in the midst of Indonesia. The Aussies are very exposed to Islamic attack from a fairly short distance. Solidarity against the jihad is critical to survival of our civilization. Go Aussies!

Isn't that song about a guy getting his legs blown off at Gallipoli? No, it's not. It is the "Other National Anthem" of Australia (sort of like America the Beautiful is for the US) and was written in 1895, well before Gallipoli and even before the Boer War, which the author covered as a war correspondent.

The Aussies are very exposed to Islamic attack from a fairly short distance Which is a large part of the reason they are still flying the F-111. It's go the legs for the land based anti surface ship mission. They are also procuring the "Wedgetail" a more modern version of AWACS, but built on a smaller 737 airframe.

Oh crap I apologize. I just looked at the label on the tape I had listened to and realized what my mix up was -- I was taking a quote out of context from a song on the other side.
Thanks for the heads up. I thought that would be odd.

did he bid a "tearfull" farewell to all the people who became victims of indiginous criminals thanks to his disarming the loyal law abiding population...
I would never fight for a nation that espouses freedom yet desires to turn me and mine into slaves
