That anti-bacti slime never sees many paws, paws that smear the same handles, knobs, etc. that our higher order mitts share

And people think I'm strange for opening the door with a paper towel when leaving the bathroom after washing my hands.

Yes, in this current cultural climate a person really has to not assume that everyone else is socialized and civilized. Another good idea is to use the elbow when extracting paper from those towel dispensers.

But as far as restaurants go, it is a shame that managers do not take a more active role in educating their wage-earners, most of whom are immune to the diseases they carry and spread.

My husband taught me that trick, opening the door with a paper towel. I told my son about it too but he said he had already been doing that for years. I think alot of people have finally figured out that the door knobs are filthy. We also turn the water off with a paper towel because everyone that does wash their hands had dirty hands first.
