[history]
Abu Mussab al Zarqawi -- a Jordanian -- was recently accused by Jordanian officials of masterminding the assassination of U.S. diplomat Laurence Foley in Amman in late October.
And Zarqawi has been linked to some of the men arrested recently in London and accused of possessing the deadly poison ricin.

Iraq and Scott RitterI think we now know exactly what Saddam Hussein uses as leverage against William Scott Ritter.

Key point:
The guy is in IRAN now.
Iran's links to AQ exceed Iraq's links to AQ, I have no doubt.
That isn't to downplay this link to Iraq in the least--I am simply stating the fact. We need to reserve some of our anger for the mullahs in the Islamic Republic.

I guess this means that Iran is "next".

I guess this means that Iran is "next". Works for me.
To: SubMareener
Some people here argue pretty fervently that Iran should be first. I disagree. Sometimes you need to do what you can do first, and then do the rest. The mullahs will be under intense pressure when, after Iraq falls, there are 300k foreign troops right next door, with air bases, supply lines, ports, etc.

CNN has asked Iraq for its reaction? Trying to be fair and balanced? I don't know enough swear words to react to this statement, but I'm going to start learning right away.

Re#21 Yep. I've seen suggested that Saddam probably supplied him some poor young girls and, as is his wont, taped it. Sick man, Ritter. Sicker man, Saddam....

I heard on Fox News that CNN is watched by Saddam Who's Sane?

Zarqawi, coalition intelligence sources said, left Afghanistan when the Taliban regime was toppled. From there, said the sources, he traveled through Iran to Baghdad, The only country he missed was N Korea.

RD, thanks for posting this.
The beauty of this story is that it comes from Jordan, not the evil/vile Americans.
I think that we will see our allies in the next 8-10 days come up with a lot of this to document the links between Uncle Soddomite and the head goat humpers of al Qaeda.

The above photo is another classic example of Miss Marple's and Grampa Dave thesis re detecting these Islamofascists/kazis.
We feel that you do not need racial profiling.
You just need to look for the meanest looking guys with really bad hair, bad skin, zero smiles and really butt ugly faces. No wonder they want to commit suicide.

The most impressive thing about the Bush Presidency in general, and the Rumsfeld Pentagon in particular, it that they treat every situation on its own merit. One size does not fit all, and they are acting on that reality.
All indications are that the Iranian people, as a whole, love America and Americans. The approach to liberating them from radical Islam will be different from the approach to liberating Iraq.
It is so refreshing to have adults back in charge of the Government!

The beauty of this story is that it comes from Jordan, not the evil/vile Americans. You got that right. If it came from the Administration, Daschle would be troubled, shocked and disturbed that it might be fake info leaked to fuel the bloodlust of us warmongers.

CNN has asked Iraq for its reaction and is waiting for its response. Translation: "Help us out, Saddam. We've done everything we can to cover for you - but we're stumped. This noodle-scratcher makes it look like Bush was actually right."
To: BOBTHENAILER
Kennedy is the ugly Irish killer backer/killer driver. He represents a different shade and size of ugliness than the Islamofascists/Kazis.
