Perhaps Laci encouraged him to move due to an affair.

I'm finding out more every day about the two, looking at a motive its going to be hard to pick one perticular thing, usually motive is hard to prove, but in this case sp had so much going on that even I could prove motive, thats a long way from where this case was in the first week.

They were in deep financial debt. Filed a bancruptcy in the last two years. SP bought a 20.000 membership to country club. They were over 100,000 in debt. SP was continuing to speak with his gf AFTER laci had disappeared and told her he was in Europe. She was annoyed and taped the conversations which she turned over to police.

One more thing, I find it very interesting that Lee Peterson says Scott called him while he was fishing on 12/24...I clearly remember early in this case Lee Peterson said he did not know Scott had bought a new boat. So, Scott now we have Scott has called his Dad on his cell phone during the day he is fishing just to talk about Christmas plans, also during the time his wife is missing, unbeknownst to Scott, of course. Thus, cell records that are being checked are now explained why Dad has a call during those hours....

Scott's out on fishing on his brand new boat for the first time, talking to Dad, and he doesn't mention his new toy?
