A source close to the case has dropped a new bombshell, Scott has been calling the girlfriend since Laci's disappearence telling her he was in Europe. She is described as a tall blonde in her late twenties.( no pictures)

If that's true, then I would seriously question whether or not SP has the brains to pull of a homicide and get away with it. He sounds like one arrogant SOB or a con man. Calling the GF after she had seen his friggin' picture all over the airwaves and saying he was in Europe?? Unbelievable!

I'm bewildered by these SP types that are serial cheaters with two or three different women on the line at all times in addition to their wives. How do they get away with it?!? How can they not freak out every time they go out somewhere hoping they won't run into a GF??? I just cannot get a grasp of how these guys do it, and I know one or two that do it all the time. I guess I'm just not wired that way.

I can never understand it either. Why wouldn't one wife/ girlfriend be enough? Who has the money and attention for more than one relationship? Who wants to be nagged by two or three women at once? I always think of the latter parts of "Goodfellas" where Henry Hill is getting heat from both the wife and the girlfriend.

And that doesn't even take into account the stress of keeping secrets.
